Chandler EMDR Training*

Weekend 2

11031 E Victoria St. Chandler, AZ 85248

 EMDRIA Approved EMDR Training

If you are a therapist, you have undoubtedly heard of the power of EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitizing Reprocessing). EMDR therapy is comprehensive and includes aspects of multiple psychotherapeutic approaches. A research and evidence based therapy created by Francine Shapiro Ph.D., EMDR therapy is identified as treatment of choice for trauma.

Here is where this EMDR Training is unique.

Ask any of your peers who are already trained in EMDR therapy. EMDR and dissociation is covered in other basic trainings, but not in great detail. If clinicians don't get that information, they can find EMDR therapy significantly more challenging when working with complex trauma clients. As you know, the majority of our clients actually come to us to heal from the effects of complex developmental trauma, as opposed to simple PTSD.

So, as a trauma and dissociation specialist, it was very important to me to not only support clinicians in meeting the standards established by EMDRIA for EMDR Training in Arizona, but also provide specific additional curriculum on working with complex trauma.

EMDRIA Approved EMDR Training Curriculum

The goal of this EMDR Training Course is to provide clinicians with a complete integrated training in EMDR therapy. This program supports clinicians in meeting the minimum standards established by EMDRIA, as well as specific additional curriculum in dissociation. The goal is to provide clinicians with the knowledge and skills to utilize EMDR therapy, a comprehensive understanding of case conceptualization and treatment planning, and the ability to integrate EMDR therapy into their clinical practices.

My Phoenix EMDR Training Course is divided into Part One and Part Two. In addition, there are 10 hours of consultation that must be completed. Please note that trainees are not considered EMDR Basic Trained until they have completed all of the aforementioned requirements and will receive a Certificate of Completion upon completing the entire course.
