Jennifer Walker, President: Jennifer Walker, Ph.D., L.P.C. is currently working as a counselor with Sage Counseling, teaching as an adjunct professor with Argosy University, and starting a private practice in Sun City West. Jennifer has worked as a counselor educator and counselor for over 20 years. Jennifer has worked with court ordered clients for many years, and particularly enjoys group counseling. Jennifer is committed to social justice and advocating for professional counselors in Arizona.

Tad D Gary, Secretary: Tad Gary, M.Ed., M.A., C.R.C., L.P.C. is currently the Director of the Integrated Case Management department at Mercy Care Plan (MCP), one of the largest Medicaid plans in Arizona, which is administered by Schaller Anderson of Arizona, an Aetna Company. In this role at MCP, Tad oversees a large department that comprises various case management and behavioral health teams. Tad’s additional experience includes multiple leadership roles, as well as providing direct counseling and rehabilitation services. Tad has earned graduate degrees in counseling and education, and is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Arizona and a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor. Tad also volunteers as a therapist with WellCare Foundation, an organization that provides free integrated healthcare to uninsured women and their children. In addition to his membership with Arizona Counseling Association (AzCA), Tad is also a current member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Counseling Association for Humanistic Education and Development (C-AHEAD), Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC), Case Management Society of America (CMSA), and the Arizona Public Health Association (AzPHA).

Anthony “Tony” Bratko, Treasurer: Anthony Bratko received his Bachelors of Science in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. He was recruited by a medium sized trucking company immediately upon graduation and took a position as Finance Manager. In 1991, Anthony Bratko moved to Arizona and started a commercial/residential landscape maintenance and design corporation. He sold the business in 1996 and bought and managed a private retail package and shipping store. In 1998 he bought another packaging and shipping store. In 2006, Anthony sold the retail stores and decided to pursue a career in behavioral health. He took a position at PreHab of Arizona Agency as a Behavioral Health Tech facilitating psycho-educational group for court ordered adolescents. Anthony then began the masters program at the University of Phoenix for which he is currently pursuing. Currently, Anthony Bratko is employed by Community Bridges Agency as an Intake Specialist in the Arizona Bridge to Recovery Detox program.

Mike DeMoss, President Elect: Mike DeMoss received his Bachelors of Science in Business Management/Marketing from The University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas. He has 28 years of experience in sales and sales management with medical device companies. In August of 2008, Mike decided to embark on a second career and began working on his master’s degree in professional counseling at Ottawa University in Phoenix. He completed his MAPC degree at Ottawa in March of 2011 with a 4.0 GPA and has applied for his LAC.

Gordon Gray, Past President: Gordon Gray, MC, NCC, LAC, LISAC is currently the Field Placement Coordinator and adjunct professor for the Ottawa University Master of Arts in Professional Counseling program. Gordon contracts with CLTatum & Associates and provides in-home counseling services to children and families involved with Child Protective Services and in conjunction with the Maricopa County Juvenile Probation Department and Maricopa County Superior Court serves as the counselor for the Juvenile Drug Court serving Glendale and the West Valley. Gordon is an active member in the ACA, ACES, ALGBTIC, and IAAOC. Gordon is an Arizona native.
